February’s Newsletter 2010
Dear Friends and Prayer Warriors,
It’s hard to believe that March is upon us. I know that February
is a short month, but this one has really flown by. The Lord was gracious to give us a
couple of events for our ministry calender for February.
On February 14 we were at First Baptist Church in Raleigh, MS to lead in worship
for their morning worship service and later that afternoon we presented a mini-concert for
their Valentine’s Banquet. It was good seeing their pastor again, Bro. Jeff Myers. He
and his family have been at First Baptist for three years now. We did a revival with him
about five years ago. It was really good to hear him preach again. Their music minister,
Bro. Don McMaster, invited us to be a part of their special day. We had the privilege to
meet their new minister to students, Bro. Randy Clayton. It was good getting to know the
people of Raleigh. What a sweet fellowship there.
Our next engagement was at Meadowview
Baptist Church in Starkville, MS on February 21-24. God truly did an amazing work that
week with 24 professions of faith. This was our first time to be with their new pastor,
Bro. Jason Middleton. Though he has been there for three years, he’s not new to them.
The guest evangelist was Dr. Rodney Keith from Jacksonville, FL. He preached some
powerful sermons. It was a pleasure getting to work with him. All in all it was a very
good week. Their music minister, Bro. Bruce White, invited us to be with them that week.
We look forward to hearing what the Lord is going to continue to do in that church.
Please continue to pray for us as March is going to be a busy month. We
will be on the road for the next three weeks and we are going to pick the motor home up
from the shop this afternoon. It had to have some repairs done on it. Pray that they have
found all the problems and that everything will work properly. We love you all. May the
Lord continue to bless you as you seek His face.
