Junes Newsletter 2010
Dear Friends and Prayer Warriors,
God is so good, Hes so good to me. He answers prayer, Hes
so good to me. As many of you know, we have had a very slow month. The Lord has been
gracious however, to give us some fill in dates at two different churches.
On June 6 we were at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Columbus, MS where Bro.
Steve Lammons pastors. We filled in for their music minister who was on a mission trip
that week. We had a great time with the good folks there. Their youth minister, Randy
Tolleson preached Sunday morning and Jim Holloway preached Sunday evening.
The next three Sundays we were back at Vaiden Baptist Church.
They are still in the process of searching for a bi-vocational music minister. We had a
wonderful time visiting with everyone there. Vaiden is such a great church with members
who truly know how to make you feel at home. We truly appreciate all that they did for us
the time we were there. They took very good care of us. Not only did they give us an
honorarium and cover our mileage, they also took up a love offering for our ministry on
the last Sunday we were there. And did I say God is so good and He answers
prayer. Well He is and He does. The offering was so much more than we had imagined.
Once again, God has proven that He will provide for all our needs according to His riches
in glory through Christ Jesus. A special thanks to Vaidens pastor, Bro. Freddie
Matthews, for inviting us to be with them.
Some other personal events that happened in the month of June were
Calebs Kindergarten graduation on June 12. Many of our family and friends were at
our house to help us celebrate Calebs accomplishments.
On June 19, we surprised the boys and girls with a three night camping
get away at Clarkco State Park near Quitman, MS. We had a wonderful time just getting away
and forgetting our troubles for a few days.
Hope you all had a great Fourth of July. We sure did. Well have
some of those pictures coming up in the next newsletter. Please continue to pray for our
financial situation. We had an unexpected cancellation from the Christian Music Conference
that we teach at every summer in Murray, KY. We were hoping to find a concert or something
to help make up for the lost income for that week, but were unable to on such short
notice. We know, however, that God will provide as He did last month through the
incredible love offering at Vaiden and another couple in Mississippi who felt led to go
above and beyond to support our ministry with a generous check. Praise God from whom
all blessings flow. Praise Him all creatures here below. Praise Him above ye heavenly
host. Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen! Thank you all for your continued
support of One Way Ministries. We Love You.
In His Service,

Steve & Becky Carver
